Peter Käckell has extensive experience in patent and utility model law, as well as in trademark and design law. His activities cover all areas of industrial property protection, focusing on patent grant, opposition, infringement and utility model cancellation proceedings. His main areas of technical expertise are concrete engineering, optics and information technology.
Peter Käckell studied physics at the Technical University of Berlin and received his doctorate at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena in 1996. He then worked at the National Institute for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research in Tsukuba, Japan, for two years.
He completed his training as a patent attorney in our firm. He has been recognized as a Patent Attorney and European Trademark and Design Attorney since 2005 and as a European Patent Attorney since 2007. In 2006 he became a partner at Geyer, Fehners & Partner.
